Firm History
R A & A Logan, Accountants were formed in May 1983. In the same year, Brewerton & Co, Chartered Certified Accounts were also formed. In 1987 the two firms merged to become Logan & Brewerton, Chartered Certified Accountants.
Major dates in the firm's history include:
1983 - R A & A Logan, Accountants formed in May
1983 - Brewerton & Co, Chartered Certified Accountant formed in August
1987 - R A & A Logan and Brewerton & Co merged in February to become Logan & Brewerton, Chartered Certified Accountants (L&B)
1989 - Astral Accountancy Services Limited (Astral Accountancy) in April as a separate accounting practice to L&B
2001 - Howes & Co, Chartered Accountants acquired in February and rebranded as part of L&B as Howes & Co, Chartered Certified Accountants with Howes & Co (H&Co) practising from Chipping Norton and L&B from Bicester
2006 - Astral Accountancy/L&B and H&Co formed an association with Titcheners Limited, Chartered Accountants in October 2006. This association ended in June 2009
2009 - Astral Accountancy/L&B and H&Co reverted to practising independently again from June 2009
2018 - Astral Accountancy acquired the practices of L&B and H&Co
